Class Descriptions

Tap Fitness

This is a new class format focused more on improving cardiovascular fitness rather than tap technique specifically. (think aerobics but with tap shoes on – amazing, right?) You’ll need some basic tap experience, but we will review each of the steps at the beginning of the class. Current students receive a 50% discount?

Beginner Tap

This class is for basic beginners or those who haven’t tapped in a long time. Class work is heavily focused on technique and sound quality in simple steps.

Intermediate Tap

For those who already have the basic steps down and want to work on some new moves, increasing speed, more intricate rhythms, and maybe even some arms!

Stephanie Seaman-Keith
TTD Founder/Co-Director

I have been tapping since i was just a toddler and it is one of my favorite styles because of the way it allows the dancers to contribute to the music. I believe that tap (and all dance for that matter) should be fulfilling and welcoming. My classes are focused on enjoyment, community and improving tap skills – and central to that is meeting each student where they are and appreciating what they bring to class.
